During my recent city break at Hotel D’Este in Milan, I was genuinely impressed by the attentive staff, who not only greeted me warmly but also went above and beyond when I accidentally left my mobile in a taxi. The room was air-conditioned and spacious, complete with a minibar, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring nearby cultural gems like the Museum of the Twentieth Century. Breakfast was a highlight, served buffet style with a good selection that changed daily, including fresh fruit and a solid choice of meats and pastries. While the decor might lean slightly towards business, the quiet atmosphere created the perfect retreat after a day out in the bustling city. Plus, the location is spot-on, just a short stroll to the main attractions while still feeling tucked away. A delightful stay that caters not just to leisure travelers but also to those looking to relax after adventures!
